What’s needed to do this activity

Baby’s Toys and Baby’s Blanket

How to do the activity

Let the baby sit facing you. Hold a toy near your face and talk about it. Once the toy catches the baby’s attention, hide it under the blanket and say “Oh no! Where has <…..> gone?” Wait for sometime as the baby looks here and there for the toy. Remove the blanket and say “Here it is. <…> is back.” Babies would love the surprise and enjoy it. Repeat this with other toys.

Nail Polish of different colours

How to do the activity

Paint your nails with contrasting colours. Show the nails to your baby and build a story around the painted nails  (for example a funny conversation between a short red man which is your thumb and young blue lady which is your index finger). You could open and close the fingers as you tell the story. Watch your baby have fun while your creative juices get flowing.
