1. Balloon Blast<\/h2>

Lots of Balloons of different shapes, colours and sizes<\/p>

How to do the activity<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Blow balloons of different colours, shapes and sizes so that it fills up the floor of a room. While blowing the balloons you can tell its colour and shape to your baby. After the entire floor is filled with the balloons allow your baby and yourself to walk over them. You can get some of your baby’s friends for the activity. You could have fun with your baby by jumping and bursting the balloons.<\/p>

Soft ‘Football’<\/p>

How to do the activity<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Start the basics of football with your baby. Initially, sit and start by throwing the football at each other. Later, holding the baby by underarms, you can get him\/ her to kick the ball. Thereafter make the baby sit in your lap with his \/ her legs outstretched and ask him \/ her to kick the ball. As the legs get stronger and the aim gets better, the ball will travel a longer distance.<\/p>

3. Playback Time<\/h2>

A recording and playback device such as mobile phone<\/p>

How to do the activity<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

While the baby is ‘talking’, record his\/her voice and play it back to him\/her. S\/he will be overjoyed to hear his\/her own voice. You could record voices of other people in the house. Playback these recorded voices one at a time and ask the baby to tell whose voice it is.<\/p>
