Bablr Cancellation, Return, Replacement & Refund Policy

We have created this policy with an intent to service our valued customers to the best of our ability and with full transparency. This note reflects our current policy. Please note that it may change without notice.

This Cancellation, Return, Replacement and Refund Policy applies to all Bablr Product Purchases on our website.

In case of purchases made through third-party channels or platforms such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, any Bablr Authorised Reseller, this cancellation policy may be subordinated to the policy of the third-party channel or platform. All users are requested to ascertain that they understand all relevant policies before making any purchase.

The policy also intends to comply with Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 of England and Wales. These regulations mandate that customers have a right to change their minds within 14 days of purchase if the usage has not commenced. Customers do not have this right to cancel once a subscription has activated and content downloads have started, and the content is fit for purpose and is of satisfactory quality.

For physical materials which come bundled as part of the same subscription as digital, the commencement of usage of Digital also amounts to commencement of usage of physical. Therefore, a 14-day cooling-off period does not apply. For physical materials bought separately, customers have the right to change their minds within 14 days of purchase and return the materials.

Broadly, we offer two types of plans – Subscription Plans and One-Time Plans. Each type has a slightly different Cancellation procedure and outcomes as described below.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS FOR SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

Free Trial or Free Usage

Bablr Subscription Plans may come with a free trial period for the first-time subscribers. We may also offer different free trial or any other free usage options under various promotions. The duration of any such free trial or free usage options may vary depending on the plan or promotion being offered.

As a general rule, if the free trial or usage is being offered as part of a paid plan or as an incentive to encourage purchase of a paid plan, and if the trial or free usage period commences and ends before the start of the paid plan period, the customers have the option to cancel the linked paid subscription before the end of the trial or free usage period or before the linked paid subscription plan is billed, whichever is earlier. Once a paid subscription is billed, the cancellation terms of that paid subscription plan will apply.

If a customer has signed up for a free trial or usage and doesn’t want to continue after the free period, to avoid a charge for a paid subscription plan, they should cancel the linked paid plan atleast 24 hours before the free trial or usage period ends.

Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Subscription Plans

Bablr Paid Subscription Plans give you full access to Bablr Apps against a recurring monthly/quarterly/annual payment. Some Plans also include Bablr Material Boxes bundled as part of them. These boxes are shipped monthly/quarterly/once a year depending on the nature of the plan. In all cases and unless specified otherwise, the following principles of billing, cancellation and refund are applied:

  1. In all our subscription plans, customers are automatically billed on a recurring basis at the beginning of the subscription period specified in the plan. For example, in a Monthly Plan – customers are billed for the first month at the time of their purchase and then they are billed on a recurring basis at the beginning of each subsequent month, for that month. Along with the billing, their payment is collected using the method authorised by them. In the case of a Quarterly Plan, such billing takes place at the beginning of the plan-quarter and in the case of an Annual Plan, the billing takes place at the beginning of the plan-year. This recurring billing is also called automatic subscription renewal. The renewal payments are collected using the payment method authorised by the customers and in compliance with the applicable regulatory guidelines.
  2. Customers have the right to cancel their subscription plans anytime and stop making further payments. When cancelled, customers have the right to keep using their subscription until the end of the subscription period that has already been paid for. However, no refund is offered for the subscription period that has already been billed.
  3. If the subscription plan includes material boxes, the auto-renewal and box shipping may take place up to 31 days before the end of the previous subscription period. This is to ensure that the material boxes reach customers on time and are available for use in the subscription period. In such cases, on the date of shipping, customers are billed for the new subscription period. Customers intending to not continue the subscription are required to cancel the subscription before this renewal date.
  4. A Bablr Subscription must be cancelled on the channel it is purchased from. For example, if a Subscription is purchased from Bablr WebApp, it can be cancelled only on Bablr WebApp. If a subscription is purchased via Apple App Store or Google Play Store, it can only be cancelled using their respective cancellation procedures.

Customers have a 14 day right to change their mind and get a full refund on Bablr Subscription Plans with Bablr Material Boxes provided:

  • either both of below 1A and 1B conditions are met or
  • both of below 2A and 2B are met.

1A. Customer has purchased a bundled subscription with Digital Platform Access and Material Boxes and has not used the Bablr Digital Platform (customer does not have the right to cancel once a download has started) or the Materials customer has received.

1B. All Bablr Materials are returned in accordance with the Return procedures described below.

2A. Customer has purchased a Material Box Only subscription and has not used the Materials customer has received.

2B. All Bablr Materials are returned in accordance with the Return procedures described below.

Refunds

  • For purchases made on Bablr Website, the refunds are processed within 14 days from the date of cancellation or the receipt of returned goods (If applicable) whichever is later. Refunds are made using the same means of payment as the purchase made by customers. If under any circumstances, the refunds need to be made using another mode of payment, the customers are informed in advance.
  • Enrolment to Bablr Subscription Plans is also available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. In some countries, this enrolment may only be available through Apple App Store and Google Play Store or any other third-party channels or platforms. In all such cases, all cancellations and refunds must comply with Apple App Store and Google Play Store Policies.

  • In case customers miss their sessions/activities for a certain number of days due to any technical error at our end, we will extend their Bablr Subscription validity by the same number of days. However, such instances are almost not there. Other than extension of the Subscription Validity, no other compensation shall be paid for any such technical disruption.
  • We do not offer any cash refunds. Refunds are made either using the same mode of payment as used by you or by the way of bank transfers in some cases.

If the standard timeframe as above has expired and you have still not received the refund, please contact your credit or debit card issuer or your bank for more information. If you do not get confirmation from them, please contact Bablr Customer Support.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS FOR ONE-TIME PLANS

Bablr One-Time Plans give you full access to Bablr Apps against a one-time payment for the entire period of the plan. Certain One-Time Plans also include Bablr Material Boxes which are shipped either immediately or at regular intervals.

All our One-Time Plans are not refundable.

Customers have a 14 day right to change their mind and get a full refund on Bablr Subscription Plans with Bablr Material Boxes provided:

  • either both of below 1A and 1B conditions are met or
  • both of below 2A and 2B are met.

1A. Customer has purchased a bundled subscription with Digital Platform Access and Material Boxes and has not used the Bablr Digital Platform (customer does not have the right to cancel once a download has started) or the Materials customer has received.

1B. All Bablr Materials are returned in accordance with the Return procedures described below.

2A. Customer has purchased a Material Box Only subscription and has not used the Materials customer has received.

RETURNS AND REPLACEMENTS PROCEDURES

Damaged Materials

We take great care that all the materials are checked and are properly packed in our material boxes and remain safe in transit. However, in the unlikely event of you receiving damaged materials, the following procedure applies.

  • We request you to not accept any material box from the courier if it is damaged from outside, and if by looking at it you know that the materials inside may be damaged. After we are Informed that you have declined the delivery because of this reason, we will work with you to get you a new box at the earliest. In case, you have declined the delivery, you may want to call Bablr Customer Support or send us an email to inform about the same.
  • We request you to check all the contents of the box as soon as you receive it. In your box, we also provide a checklist of the box contents. You can use this checklist to ascertain if you have received all the materials and they are in good condition. In the unlikely event of you finding any damaged materials inside the box, please send an email to Bablr Customer Support within 48 hours of your receipt of the box along with the individual pictures of all damaged materials. We will work with you to investigate the matter and will try to get you the replacements as soon as possible. Please note that we will not be able to entertain any damaged material claims sent to us after 48 hours of the receipt of materials by you.
  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected lifespan of your product, customers are entitled to the following:
    • Up to 30 days: if the goods are faulty, customers can get a refund
    • Up to six months: if the goods can’t be repaired or replaced, then customers are entitled to a full refund in most cases; and
    • If the goods do not last a reasonable length of time, customers may be entitled to some money back.
  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
    • If the digital content is faulty, customers are entitled to a repair or a replacement.
    • If the fault can’t be fixed, or if it hasn’t been fixed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, customers can get some, or all of their money back.
    • If customers can show the fault has damaged their device and we haven’t used reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a repair or compensation.

Please note that the replacements will be sent only upon verification of the claim, and we reserve the right to decline any replacement should we find any claim to be non-genuine or frivolous.

Missing Materials

We have checks and balances in place to ensure that all the contents in Bablr Material Boxes reach you in good condition. To ensure that materials do not go missing, we weigh our material boxes at various touchpoints in the shipping chain. However, in the unlikely event of you receiving missing materials, the following procedure applies.

  • We request you to not accept any material box from the courier if it is damaged from outside, and if by looking at it you know that the materials inside may be missing. After we are Informed that you have declined the delivery because of this reason, we will work with you to get you a new box at the earliest. In case, you have declined the delivery, you may want to call Bablr Customer Support or send us an email to inform about the same.
  • We request you to check all the contents of the box as soon as you receive it. In your box, we also provide a checklist of the box contents. You can use this checklist to ascertain if you have received all the materials and they are in good condition. In the unlikely event of you finding any missing materials inside the box, please send an email to Bablr Customer Support within 48 hours of your receipt of the box along with the pictures of the box. We will work with you to investigate the matter and will try to get you the replacements as soon as possible. Please note that we will not be able to entertain any damaged material claims sent to us after 48 hours of the receipt of materials by you.

Please note that the replacements will be sent only upon verification of the claim, and we reserve the right to decline any replacement should we find any claim to be non-genuine or frivolous.

Material Returns

If the reason for you returning materials is because you are entitled for replacement or refund in line with this policy:

  • All returns must be made within 14 days after the purchase date or receipts of materials whichever is later.
  • All returned products must be unused, retain their packaging and tags and must be returned in accordance with the advice received from our customer service.
  • You are solely responsible for the cost of shipping of the returned Product.

Materials not returned in accordance with the mentioned return procedures, may result in delay or denial of refunds.

Materials that cannot be returned/replaced

We would neither accept returns nor replace any materials or boxes under the following conditions:

  1. A request is not initiated within 48 hours of the receipt of the Bablr Material Box.
  2. Materials damaged due to misuse/overuse.
  3. Materials that are not in original packaging and/or have been used.
