Old Plastic Container
How to do the activity
Make multiple holes in the plastic container by heating a nail and passing it through the container’s standing end. Fill a container with water and show the ‘rain’ to the baby. Now give the container to the baby and let him/her pour the ‘rain’ over the toys. This activity is best done in the bathtub. Always keep a vigil on the baby.

2. Playback Time
What’s needed to do this activity
A recording and playback device such as mobile phone
How to do the activity
While the baby is ‘talking’, record his/her voice and play it back to him/her. S/he will be overjoyed to hear his/her own voice. You could record voices of other people in the house. Playback these recorded voices one at a time and ask the baby to tell whose voice it is.

3. Measuring Up
What’s needed to do this activity
Plastic or other similar containers of different sizes, Baby bathtub with water
How to do the activity
While the baby is sits in his/her bath tub, give him/her the containers to play. Watch while s/he fills the containers with water and then empties the water into the tub. S/he could also transfer the water from one container to the other. Let the baby explore on his/her own, but do not leave the baby unattended.
