How to do the activity
Remove the lids from the plastic containers, bottles and boxes. Keep the lids in a pile and the containers, bottles and boxes separately. Let your baby fix the lids/caps on the correct containers, bottles and boxes. Help the baby position the lids and see the joy on his/her face when s/he places the right lid at its correct location. Be careful to use only baby- safe containers.

2. Bird Play

“Just You”
How to do the activity
Flap your arms like the wings of a bird and walk, skip or run around the room. Get the baby to follow you while you ‘Fly’. You can make a song around this. For example – Here comes a little bird flying in the sky. It perches on the chair and flies again. It touches the table, touches the sofa and then flies etc.

3. Fruit Scoop
What’s needed to do this activity
Bowl of water, Chopped Fruits, Scooping spoon, glass and another bowl
How to do the activity
In a bowl filled with purified water, drop a few chopped fruits or small fruits like grapes, plums etc. Give this bowl to the baby. Place a glass and an empty bowl near the baby and give her a scooping spoon. Let the baby play with the fruits by scooping the fruits from the water bowl and placing them in the glass or the empty bowl. You can talk about the fruits while the baby does so. You can let the baby eat the fruits if s/he wants to.
